I'm very shocked that my story Mama Dearest was one of the winners for Fall Writing Frenzy 2023, but very grateful. I've entered this and numerous writing contest before and have never won. However, I did step out the box and tried something new. I'm so glad I did. Thank you, Kaitlyn Sanchez, all the prize donors, judges and congrats to the winners and participants. These contests are definitely ways to elevate your writing game and improve your craft. Even if I did not win, I definitely challenged myself. I'm looking forward to linking up with Stephanie Winter.
